Information you choose to share

The meeting form asks for your email address, phone number, and a message of up to 500 characters. All three fields are required in the form. If you prefer, you can email austin@blacktopcabot.com directly with the information you are comfortable sharing.

Please keep the message to a general description of what you need. Do not include passwords, payment details, government identification numbers, or sensitive medical or financial information.

How your information is used

I use your contact details and message to respond, discuss your request, arrange a meeting, and follow up about that conversation. A meeting request does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorize unrelated marketing calls or texts.

This website does not sell your form information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may also be used when necessary to protect the website, prevent misuse, or meet a legal obligation.

Where your request goes

When you select “Send meeting request,” your browser submits your email address, phone number, and message to FormSubmit. FormSubmit processes the request and forwards it to austin@blacktopcabot.com. The email provider also processes and stores the resulting email.

FormSubmit’s verification page may use cookies and anti-spam services, including reCAPTCHA. Those services have their own practices. Read FormSubmit’s privacy policy (PDF) and, if a Google verification is shown, Google’s privacy policy.

Your browser sends normal connection information, including an IP address, to the services it contacts. Service providers may keep technical records for security, operation, and delivery. Processing locations depend on those providers.

Cookies, tracking, and storage

The portfolio itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not load advertising trackers. Its images and fonts are served with the site. The opening animation does not store a preference or create a tracking profile.

External sites and the FormSubmit verification flow may use cookies. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect verification. Email is available as an alternative.

Retention and security

Messages delivered to the inbox remain there until deleted. I aim to keep inquiry information only as long as needed for the conversation, related work, and necessary business records. You can ask me to delete an inquiry using the contact details below, subject to any records that must be retained.

FormSubmit currently states in its documentation that it retains form submissions in its archive for 30 days. That is separate from copies delivered by email and is controlled by FormSubmit.

The form sends information to FormSubmit over HTTPS. No internet transmission or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Share only what is needed to start the conversation.

Your choices and requests

To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or change how I contact you, email austin@blacktopcabot.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. I may need to verify that a request relates to you. Do not send identity documents unless a suitable verification process has been agreed.

You may have additional rights under the laws that apply to you. Nothing on this page limits those rights. This portfolio is intended for people seeking business services and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Please contact me if a child’s information has been submitted.

Changes and contact
